DIY Hannukah Menorah
Make the festival of lights even more fun with a homemade menorah craft project! All you need is Hefty® Everyday™ Foam Plates and a bowl, a toilet paper roll, paint and tissue paper. Candles will shine bright for all eight nights with this simple how-to:
- Cut a foam plate in half; trim and paint eight candles
- Paint branches on one half – add decorative glitter if desired
- To form a base, glue a foam bowl upside down on top of a foam plate. Top with a toilet paper roll and paint the foundation to match the upper half of the menorah
- Create flames with layered squares of tissue paper and glue to candles. Secure all eight candles to top of half plate to line up with branches
PRO-TIP: Give your candle flames a realistic ombre finish by layering yellow, orange and red tissue paper squares.
