Getting into Business on the Internet

The most important marketing tool to be developed in recent years has been the Internet.  Having a website can be one of the most important tools you use to build your business.

We recommend Netlogical websites to all Create-A-Book dealers.  There is a yearly fee to maintain this site, but is very inexpensive when purchased through our system.  Many dealers create their own sites, and have been successful in promoting Create-A-Books on their site.  As time permits, you can learn web programming and can actually create and maintain your own website.

Why have a site and how can I make a site work for me?

The best way to use a website is as a destination, (like a store or catalog) that you send your customers to.  In other words, you will print your web address on everything you give away, like business cards, brochures, letterheads, pens, pencils and you should stamp your web address  in the back of your Create-A-Books.   When you have a website, you have you will have a unique address.  This is what you give to your customers.  Once your customers go to your website, they will find many personalized children's books available, along with pictures and descriptions.  They can then print out your order form, fill in, and fax it or mail to to you.  Or, you can invite them to call.  It's your choice.  When you are ready, we can set up your first site.

Everyone is beginning to understand web businesses. Millions of products are now sold online.  Once you have your site, get a rubber stamp or label, and put your website address in each book you make. Imagine, your customers will be able to find out the latest books available by looking at your online catalog that is always up to date! And, you don't have to mail them another paper catalog. What you save in paper catalogs will more than pay for the online catalog.

You may also wish to give away refrigerator magnets with your web address on it. When people need a book, they will go online.

So,  you build your business by doing a McGruff  or Homer Give-A-Book program, and putting your web address on every book. You hand out business cards with your web address on it so your customers can shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while you are at work or are asleep. You put your web address on all your correspondence, emails, and on your checks! When you pay your telephone bill, you want that clerk to see your web address and go to your website!

To start building your business, get your website set up now and begin your advertising campaign.  The Internet is the hottest marketing tool ever invented. Jump in!
